Here is a wonderful tool for you to work with your students! You tube Social is a great way of watching videos in real time with your friends on YouTube. It can handle 8 people at the same time interacting via chat. If you have the remote control icon on your photo, you can do whatever you want to the video streaming. The ones invited can also login with their Facebook account, so, their pictures will appear on the boxes below the video. That makes the movie session even warmer, doesn't it? You just have to drag them to the area where it says: Drag Your Friends Here. It is very intuitive and you may not have big problems with it. You do not need much, just follow these steps:
- Choose a video on You Tube.
- Instead of the usual adress (youtube.com) Write (youtubesocial.com). E.g. - Instead of this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e82VE8UtW8A write this
http://www.youtubesocial.com/watch?v=e82VE8UtW8A
